I am looking for info on any of these persons: According to the 1900 census record for Patrick Russell, believed to be the brother of Richard, he emmigrated to the United States in 1855 from Ireland and was naturalized. After he came to the United States about 1860, Patrick married Anne Nicholson who had emmigrated two years earlier than he had in 1853. This researcher believes that Richard also came to the United States in 1855 and was naturalized and married Alice Mahoney after arriving in the United States. The ages of these brothers is in question. There seems to be more than a ten year difference in the census records and their death certificates, making it hard to determine their date of birth. 1860 Census for Waukesha County Wisconsin, Waukesha Village, page 215, Household 36: Richard Russell 30 day laborer born in Ireland, Alice 23 born in Ireland, and Jeremiah 11/12 born in Wisconsin. (Most of the heads of household in their neighborhood were born in Ireland. Both of their closest neighbors were Gleasons: Edward Gleason 30 and his wife Bridget and Michael Gleason 25 and his wife.) on page 260, Household 467 is his brother Patrick 36 day laborer born in Ireland, Ann 19 born in Ireland, and Margaret 1/12 born in Wisconsin. 1870 Census for Wisconsin Waukesha County Waukesha: Dwelling # 280 Family # 275 Richard Russell age 36 male white Occupation: day labor, Value of real estate $1,000 and value of personal property $300. This researcher believes that Richard and Patrick were brothers and that their father's name was Thomas since each named a son Thomas. The parentage of Richard was established by Richard's death certificate which gave his father's name as Thomas Russell.
