I am looking for the families of Hans Jacob Hansen and Rasmine Jacobsen Hansen (family changed sp to Hanson). Parents and 6 children immigrated about 1871 from Lolland and / or Langeland,Denmark. Children were Jacob, Gustave, Hansine, Emma F, Mathilde, and Julius. My g grandfather married Emma F. Great grandfather was Frank Christian Peterson ( immigrated about 1879 from Lolland,Denmark. Emma Hanson was his second wife, married abot 1894. His first wife is still unknown to me. I don't have enough info to ask WI state yet. They had 3 children between the time he got to Wisconsin and 1887. He was a blacksmith by trade. About 1895, they moved to New Mexico. My father knew Ethwell (Eddy ) Hanson ,songwriter, and son of Gustave. Eddy was Emma's nephew. He lived for some years in Waupaca. We also knew Zeller girls.
