Robin, that would be great, thanks so much. Morgan's wife was named Ann b. 1802 d. 1870-1880. I hope the tombstone(s) offers some closer dates. Thanks for your help. David, do you have cemetery lot information for Morgan James? I happen to have a copy the certified survey and lot map, but it does not show a list of the owners. I believe the Jerusalem Cemetery records have him as dying in 1869 on 27 June, and that is the correct date. Did the Historical Soc Museum have his Declaration to become a citizen? They have the originals to hundreds of Welsh pioneers who came in the 1840's. The other Morgan James was married to Ellen Rees, and was born much later. I have information on some 3000 Welsh (including several generations in lots of instances) from Waukesha Co. If you come up with any names, I will be glad to research my files. I had most of the information mentioned in your email, and I do not have any additional information at this time. I would be happy to receive your family file on subsequent generations and your permission to add it to my files. I will ultimately donate my work to the Village of Wales and the Wauk. Hist Soc and Museum. Printed, it runs 154 pages. Do you have any information on the farm, village, or area in Wales that Morgan came from? Lots of people who came in the 1840's came from an area in central Cardiganshire just north of Tregaron, surrounding the Cors Goch Bog. I have found several of the farms, and the buildings are still there. In regard to your question about the spouses of Kate and Mary James, I can almost guarantee you that they married Welsh husbands. There was absolutely no intermarriage with the Germans, Russians, and other ethnic groups that were in the area.
