Susan, are you related to these Carlins? I descend from John Carlin who was brother to Fisk Carlin's grandfather William. This John Carlin married Ann James, daughter of Morgan and Ann James, who have been harder to trace. Fred Carlin is currently putting what I have found on these Carlins on his website. His work in progress can be viewed at www.attorney.carlin.net/septs/waukesha.htm if you're interested. We would be grateful for any additional information or corrections on these Carlins or any Carlins who were early settlers in Wisconsin.
