    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Hamm Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/TFC.2ACE/594 Message Board Post: I am trying to find out more about my gr gr gr aunt, Elizabeth Hamm, who died in Waukesha County March 13, 1902. I believe her parents, Henry and Catherine (nee Heikman?) Hamm also died in Waukesha County in the 1870s. Elizabeth's death certificate lists place of burial as simply, "Waukesha" and the burial permit no is listed as No. 58. The Rev. W.G. Miller is the clergy listed, and I know he was the pastor of St. Joseph's Catholic Church at that time. However, Elizabeth is not buried at St. Joseph's cemetery, even though her sister is buried there. I'm hoping to find where she is buried, and possibly where Henry and Catherine were buried. Anyone have any suggestions on locating the cemetery? I've called several in the area, all of whom have either no Hamm's at all, or ones I cannot place on my family tree. I've also tried contacting St. Joseph's to have the old church records looked up, but the receptionist told me they don't look up old records because they get too many requests. On the Waukesha GenWeb site it lists several cemeteries that are no longer there, the cemeteries have been removed. Is there any way to know who was buried there, and whether bodies were removed to another location or??? Just feeling at a brick wall and looking for suggestions.
