Laura, The Wis. Industrial School, was the forerunner of what is now the Ethan Allen School for boys, a "reform" school or perhaps it would be called a juvenile prison now, for boys who have committed repeated or fairly serious crimes. It is located in Wales, Wis. also in Waukesha County. I have no idea if they have a sense of history or recognize any connection to the old Industrial School. There was also another reform school called Norris Farm, now Norris High School, in the Mukwonago area, which now operates as an alternative high school for mostly court-referred boys and some others.
