Our JACKSON ancestors came to Summitt, near Oconomowoc in 1849, from Cortland County (towns of Truxton and Homer), New York, soon after immigrating to the USA from northern England. Does anyone know if other families came to Waukesha County from Cortland County around that same time? Barbara
