Some of them stayed in the Waukesha and Milwaukee are and I would appreciate any information or suggestions on places to search for additional information. My grandmother was Charlotte (Lottie) Sawatzki, born August 11, 1868 and my grandfather was August Schalla, born August 1, 1860. Both were born in Germany. I have found several variations of my grandmother's surname. The one on her gravestone is Sowatzke.
