    1. [WIWAUKES] Christmas season, Brookfield, 1923

    3. Some of you may be interested in a new "addition" of the diary of my great-aunt, Cora Bradee, from December, 1923, just added to our family website: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~genjournalz/~genjournalz.index.html Just page down a bit to the "New" pages, and you'll find the link to her diary for the Christmas Season. Cora's family lived on Bradee Road near Capitol Drive. You'll also find a link that will show you her family's farm on the 1914 Brookfield plat map. Hope you enjoy this diary entry, and the other we have up so far (January 1923). You will find references to many neighbors in Brookfield and Wauwatosa, as well as to activities at the Trinity Ev. Church in Brookfield (where Cora and her parents and Sommer grandparents are buried) and the (now-closed) Friedens Ev. Church in Old Butler, Wauwatosa. Penny Ziemer Ford Denver, Colorado
