"In 1871... the old house was removed from the lot where it was built 27 years before, on to lots farther east, on Wisconsin street, and occupied by the church while the new edifice was being erected." Afterward it was sold to the Town of Waukesha, and used as a town hall. The new church edifice was bulit on the corner of Grand and Wisconsin and finished in the summer of 1872. I don't have information on the current status. --Joe Chase
