Hi, My grandfather was born in West Gronville (sp?). His name was Frank Teichmann. His father was William E. Teichmann and his mother was Louisa nee Raebel. Grandfather used to say he was born in Waukesha, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. He had a brother Frederick William Teichmann and two sisters, Hattie and Elizabeth (?)Louise. At the time of the Civil War, he was in the process of packing up and moving his family to Pierce County, Wisconsin when he got called to serve. He found someone to take his place for him for a hefty fee and continued to make the move. I am wondering if anyone there has any way to help me with more information on this family.
