I am very interested in the Klug family from this area. I have a Klug family I am tracing, next door neighbors and apparently cousins of my Ziemers from Butler, Wauwatosa, area. Consequently, I have a large network of Klug family members who are looking for Pommern Klugs relocated to Wisconsin. Any Klug information greatly appreciated. A word of caution: Mrs. Talmadge's information was found to have lots of errors in her transcriptions from Trinity Ev. cemetery in Brookfield. So, once one gets her info, it is best to double -check at the source if possible.
Is it possible to get all the names from one surname or do you need specific names? The names I am interested in are the DAMMs and ECKELs you have listed below. Please let me know. Thanks! Hi Keith; James and Marsha's daughter, Marsha, was married to Wm H. Bump. Their daughter Ada is my grandmother Sellers' mother. William's father, also William is buried in Magnolia cemetery, Rock co. I would like a picture of James' headstone, that would be great. If you sending by post, my address is ; 4911 Sidney St Lansing, Mich 48911 Gary Sellers
In case Susan does not see your question: Prairie Home Cemetery 605 S. Prairie Av. Waukesha, WI 53186 1-262-524-3540 Bob of Brookfield
Hi Gary, James Klock was born April 1, 1801 in New York, according to Prairie Home Cemetery records, and died September 1, 1870. After this date, Marsha (Bull) Klock is hard to track, but I have a letter that indicates she was with family in Rochester, MN in 1879 and came to Waukesha that year to pick up her Granddaughter, Eugenie, whose mother had died. Eugenie is my great grandmother. I have pictures of the Klock graves at Prairie Home Cemetery, including that of James Klock, if you are interested. The pictures I took are in a few inches of snow; I plan to go back this summer to get some better ones and would also send copies of those if you are interested. I have more info on James and Charles Klock, and a few leads on their siblings. What is your connection to the family? Susan, thank you for responding. Would you have an address for the city? Gary in Michigan
Prairie Home Cemetery is the cemetery for the city of Waukesha. It is located on Prairie Avenue or can also be accessed on West Avenue. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Susan, a resident of Waukesha
I have James and Marsha Klock in Waukesha village in the 1850,1860 and 1870 census. i have inherited some old research that says he died in 1870 and is buried in Prairie Home cemetery. Anyone know where this cemetery is? I have no additional info on Marsha. Gary Sellers Lansing,Michigan

Trying to locate any of their families. Son Silas, James N, Erastus (?), Spencer, and Albert or any of their descendents. Have a little information but certainly would like more. Most of the following relatives lived in Menomonee Falls, Waukesha County, Wisconsin: Minor, Webb, Bancroft, Dent, Graulich. Need mostly birth and death dates. Thank you. Donna from MN
Penny, I have strong family ties to Trinity in Brookfield. I have numerous names connected with the parish. Wendt, Reimer, Walter to mention a few. Let me know what specific info you're looking for. Thank you, Dawn (Reimer)
Earlier today, I reminded a list member to beware of sending private messages to the whole list. And -- voila' -- I have done it! My apologies to all who are not associated with Trinity Church, Calhoun Road, Brookfield. And if you are, please write!
Bob of Brookfield- Bob, Ferdinand Bunde and his wife Mary had a daughter Mary Agnes Bunde born in 1842 who married and settled in Waukesha--then Ferdinand and his wife disappeared into Milwaukee County. IF you come across this name in Forest Hills Cemetery records--please keep me in mind.It is a shot in the dark--but many blind shots have hit! The name was also spelled Bundy and HAPPY HUNTING!! I am not especially looking for any information but am interested in getting together a reunion of Trinity descendants next year to trade information, etc., etc. You and I did correspond about this once before. My family married into the Wendt - Hoeft family in 1907. My cousin (2nd cousin I think it is) is a grandson of a Wendt woman who married a Hoeft. These were Trinity or Friedens (Wauwatos) Hoefts. You had said you could get me in touch with someone who might have pix of Trinity families. We have some, most notably a nice picture of the old cemetery, and my friend has a lot of the old church he has copied for me. Let me know if you are interested in working with me on a reunion of descendants of church founders and former congregation families. I would love to be part of that for next year or so. Penny
Hi! My Roso is Albert Roso and he only had one son named Scott. The information I'd need would be for just Albert's immediate family so I don't think the Joe would help much. But thanx anyway! Sal
Hi Blanche, It has been a long time. Saw you post on WIWAUKES-L. As you know by now, I am sure, my main area of expertise is Milwaukee County and historic Forest Home Cemetery. Was wondering if you would be interested in your surnames as found there in my reading of Milwaukee history. I haven't had a chance yet to check burial records though, at Forest Home as I only volunteer one day a week there (Friday's) to do family history informational look-ups. Here is what I found: PELLMANN Mrs. Alfred nee Amanda Graf in Bruce's history, 3rd Volume JUNKER Frederick and Mrs. Frederick nee Christiana Ratzow CTIBOR - nothng, sorry WOLLMER - ditto WALTHER- Buck's 2nd volume has a Joseph Gregory's 2nd volume has the surname but no given name Chronicles & Documents of Milwaukee has a David Western Historical Publishing as a George H. two times, and a Mrs. Joseph nee Anna Catharine Diefenbach Watrous' 1st volume has George H two times mentioned MUEHL only Gregory has an A. O. in his third volume TESS only Western Historical has an H. Was wondering if any of these would be of interest to you. Could look up the references to see exactly what they have to say. I read the histories and write down all surnames and any given names or initials given. I also write down every wife's maiden name that is given. I add also the page(s) on which the name is to be found. Makes for easy looking up when someone wants that information. Glad I was able to help you sister. Bob of Brookfield
