    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TFC.2ACE/651 Message Board Post: Ann Love married John Buckley on July 6, 1845 by Jeremiah Rice, J.P. in Waukesha County, WI. Lucretia Love married Nathan Codner in 1850 by Leonard Martin, J.P. also in Waukesha County. Lucretia was the daughter of Clinton and Mary Stalker Love, both natives of NY who moved to WI ca. 1845. Who was Ann Love? We suspect that Clinton had relatives living nearby, but we have not been able to tie him into any of the other Love lines whose migration was also from NY to WI in the same timeframe. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks, Shirley

    1. [WIWAUKES] Seeking location on Hwy 18
    2. Kathleen Perelli
    3. I am trying to locate where someone had lived on the 1930 census? On the US Census it is listed as Hwy 18 with no dwelling number given, in the Village of Sullivan. The census taker had gone in the order of what looks like a "Tamarack St" then US Hwy 18 with what appears to be 6 properties with values of $4500-$8000, then to Grove St, and back to US Hwy 18 with again what appears to be 4 properties valued at $3000-$8000 (1930 census values) then ?Newton Ave. On the Yahoo maps I can find Hwy 18 and Grove St only. Is it possible that someone might be able to pinpoint this area? The surname involved is MILBEE, a physician. What might be a dwelling number in this area now - any number to pinpoint the location more accurately. Thank you. Kathleen Perelli kathp@execpc.com <mailto:kathp@execpc.com>

    1. [WIWAUKES] Re: RIDGMAN
    2. Hi everyone, Does anyone out there have any information on Timothy RIDGMAN who emigrated to the USA around 1890. He married Elizabeth Ann GILBERT I believe and moved to Wisconsin. I have them both buried in Oak Ridge cemetery. Timothy was the brother of my Great Grandfather Walter RIDGMAN whose name changed to RIDGMENT due to misspellings in census docs. Wonder if any relations are in WI. Happy Independence Day to you all Thanks in advance Eddie Ridgment (Born St Austell Cornwall 1953)

    3. Hi Jane: You will see a reply on the Waukesha list sent moments ago to JD. It explains where I am re my research. The Wildish line came to the States from County Kent in England, settling initially in the East, then moving to Waukesha County. 3. Hi dj! Thanks for the info on the Prairie Home listing for Amelia Wildish. Indeed, tho I had initially thought I was looking at the Witdish family name, I was corrected to the Wildish line. I have since located info from the Waukesha pages that indicates that a daughter married a Griswold. It is all coming together in a neat reseach package. 3. Good Morning "J": Thank you for the reference to the Waukesha Co. site; I checked out the bio sketch on Charles and he has a son Joseph who could be the subject of the probate paper that I have. I also looked at a second bio, as well as a marriage and six of the pre-1907 births. Not enough info in them to make further links, but good starting points to work from. 3. Hi "J": Good call! I am reading the handwriting of a family lawyer who obviously carried the dot for the "i" across the "l" making it look like a "t". He wrote the name at least 8 times in the probate petition and crossed the "l" every time. Any idea as to the ethnicity/origin of the name? It looks shortened/altered from a European name to me.
