I'm wondering if anyone can help me to find more information about Henry Davis Barnes (or H D Barnes), born in 1842 in Sherburne NY, moved to Elkhorn/Spring Prairie area approx. 1850's. Father, Joseph A. Barnes, Mother, Lovinia Yaw. Married to Mary L.(?) Hay, born about 1847 (NY or WI?). Sisters Adeline and Helen M Barnes. Had children Herbert T. Barnes, b. 1876, Lovinia R. Barnes, b. 1878, and Henry Davis Barnes, Jr, 1886 (who later relocated to San Diego County, CA), perhaps others as well. I know Henry Sr. was in the 28th Regiment of Wisconsin Infantry in the Civil War as a musician. Anything you can add would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
