He died in Elkhorn May 1, 1928. His father (Jacob) was born in PA. The 1880 census has some very intriguing individuals which I believe could be uncles of John. I am a professional genealogist on a local scale and have literally hundreds of photos, original documents and nearly 1900 documented and sourced individuals related to John. My purpose is to begin a dialogue somehow and share this information; of course with the hope of gaining new insights and getting further back by studying this facet of the family. I have much more information readily available; but am somewahat limited by this mode of communication. I look forward to hearing from you and send my appreciation with sincere hope that the local historical societies etc. would be interested in a submission from me.
