"Using Maps in Family History Research" will be the programm on 3 April presented to the Walworth County Genealogical Society by Craig Pfannkuche of Memory Trails Research of Wonder Lake IL. Mr. Pfannkuche is a retired history teacher, past president of the Chicago Genealogical Society and very active in both Chicago and McHenry County Genealogical Societies. He also has a fascination and expertise with railroads and 18th and 19th century photographs. Since Pfannkuche retired, he has been able to devote full time to research for himself and others. The group will gather at the Community Bank Centre, 820 East Geneva Street at 7:00 p.m. for a short meeting prior to the program. Guests are welcome and refreshments will be served. Anyone just beginning their genealogy quest is welcome to attend and bring their questions along. The WCGS library, on the level of the Aram Library, 404 East Walworth Avenue, Delavan is open every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at other times by appointment. The society is collect family histories of Walworth County and other items of interest.
