I haven't been investigating my roots for a while and thought I would throw out a line and see if there are any bites. My ancestor is Chauncy Betts who died in 1869 in Delevan WI. He uprooted his family from Betts Corner, Lysander, Onondaga County, New York and settled in Delevan. His wife of many years was Maria Ann Mather, a relative of Cotton Mather, the renoun preacher.
