I don't think births were recorded that early, which is the only thing I have an actual date for. My family was only in the area a short time and I'm trying to figure out why they stopped there and for how long. Here is the information I have: Ida May Shively, b. 10/9/1864 in Elkhorn, WI, to Peter Johnson Shively and Christiann(a) Bender Hughes Shively. I know that two boys died in the 1862 to 1866 range: Wesley Hughes, age 8 - 10, possibly first name George, and Argale (Galey) Hughes, age 8 - 10 I know that they were in Michigan until at least July 1862, and were in Illinois by December 1869. Sorry that this information is a little sketchey. I'm trying to find out more information about this family and where the two boys died. Thanks for any assistance. Kim Kendall Mesa, AZ
