Hi! I wanted to share with the list my neat discovery for the day...Did you know you can access the U.S. Geographical Survey pictures for the whole United States? Go to the web page below. Fill in the form. For instance, I entered Wisconsin, Walworth County and cemeteries as the feature name. I got back a list of 35 Walworth Co. cemeteries and their latitude & longitudes. (Unfortunately, it didn't pick up the two tiny cemeteries near our farm: Heart Prairie on Whitewater Lake and East Richmond/Norwegian Methodist on Co. P. But, we'll take whatever we can get. Right?) I clicked on the cemetery nearest our farm. Below the table the options include a topographical map of the area or a black & white aerial photograph. When the map or photo comes up you can enlarge it, zoom in and also move the frame to the area you want.
