Well, I have tried cross referencing the Lewis to Wheeler and Lewis to Burdick,Burdick to Wheeler. There are ties along the way but way to confusing for me ..lol! There are some Burdick spelled burdik that have native. But all three names can host a native background. Man o Man my eyes are getting weak here reseraching. There is a refernce to a Peleg Clark Burdick tied to a Henry Lewis through marriage. Here is my suspect as of today. I think the Wheeler's were a relative of Lewis family or freinds or employer. I am wondering do have any names for the older lady wheeler that mae was listed as boarder? Or a maiden name for that same person? I dont know but I think we got our work cut out for us here..;-)!
