Mr. Leedle had been in failing health the past three years but did not give up his work until a few weeks ago. He had been in Mercy Hospital, Janesville, for an operation. He was brought to his home the Sunday before his death. Funeral services were held at the home at 2:30 o'clock, Saturday afternoon. Rev. H. O. Gronseth of the Brick church officiated. The Brick church choir sang. Interment was made in Oakhill cemetery, Lake Geneva. Walworth Masonic lodge took charge of the services at the grave, assisted by George Harrington of Elkhorn. The pallbearers were Chas. Gannot, Leonard Church, W. I. Seaver, Frank J. McCay, George R. Crandall and Robert Reek, all members of the Walworth Masonic lodge. The funeral was largely attended, many friends coming from Ontarioville, Elgin and Linn. Henry Leedle was born in the Town of Linn, Walworth county, March 27, 1883, and died September 19, 1929, aged 46 years. His younger days were spent on the home farm, after which he attended the Lake Geneva high school. He was united in marriage to Zora Rogers at Walworth, February 21, 1906. Three children were born to this union, Ronald, who died in infancy, Myrl, and Marjorie. After living several years in Zenda, Mr. and Mrs. Leedle moved to Ontarioville, Ill., in which community they lived for the past eighteen years. The moved to Walworth last October. Mr. Leedle leaves to mourn their loss his wife, Zora; son, Mryl, and daughter, Marjorie; one grandson, James Myrl; two brothers, John of West Chicago and Richard of Linn; one sister, Mrs. Walter Robinson of Fontana; on half sister, Katherine of Lake Geneva; two half brothers, Joseph of Walworth and George of Zenda, besides a host of relatives and friends. Mr. Leedle was a memeber of Elgin lodge No 117, A. F. and A. M. He had been conected with the creamery business for over twenty years.
