I see her obit said she was born on August 13, 1854 and the 1900 census said she was born in Aug. 1853. Marriage years don't agree on the two census records, but are close. The first child Rosa, born 1873 or so was born in Kansas so the census said, then Hubert born in Wis. and then back to Kansas for the next three children. Libby said she had 5 children. Then there was Lucy, who had parents born in different places, and it appears she was adopted or something. One thing I can do for you is check and see if Bernard and Libby married in Walworth County. I will do that next week. I did find a Lizzie Burns, age 18 in the 1870 census in Rock County, 30 miles away from Elkhorn, whose parents were foreign born and she was working as a servant, so wasn't with parents. I have no idea if she is the "right" person, but it's the only one that was close. I'll see if I ca! n dig up anything else.
