EDWARD COLEMAN Mrs. Edward (Lillian Coleman, 87, former Whitewater resident, died Tuesday, January 19, at Lutheran Health Center in Milwaukee. Tentative funeral arrangements are for Saturday afternoon at the Hicky-Kent funeral Home with burial in hillside Cemetery. A complete obituary will be printed next week. THE WHITE WATER REGISTER Whitewater, Walworth Co., WI January 28, 1982 p. 12, c. 2 LILLIAN L. COLEMAN Mrs. Lillian L. Coleman, 87, a resident at Lither Manor House, Milwaukee, for the past ten years and former Whitewater resident died Tuesday, January 19, at the Lutheran Health Care Center. Born May 1, 1894, in Helenville, the former Lillian Keller was married to Edward Coleman of Whitewater at Neillsville on February 10, 1915. He died July 18 1948. They owned and operated a farm in Cold Spring until retiring in 1943, when they moved to their home on North Prairie Street in Whitewater. In 1956, Mrs. Coleman moved to West Allis to be closer to her children, and she lived there until entering Luther Manor Home for the Elderly in February, 1972. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, West Milwaukee, and a former member of the First Methodist Church, Whitewater. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jane (Howard) Traeder, West Allis, Mrs. Charlotte (Tom) Chapple, Cudahy, and Mrs. Dorothy Henderson, La Canada, California; a son Edward Coleman, Indiana, PA; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Linster, Neillsville; nine-grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Services were held Saturday at 1 p. m. at the Kickey-Kent Funeral Home, the Reverend D. P. Dovemuehle of St. John's Lutheran Church, West Milwaukee, officiating. Burial was in the family lot at Hillside Cemetery.
