Marshall Coman. Mary's parents, William and Jane Marshall lived in Walworth Co, Wisconsin at Hudson at the time of William Sr's death in l853. William had left his possessions to Jane upon his death and then to his six sons and three daughters as well as a niece, Mary Ann Redford. Unfortunately, he did not list the children by name. His son, Samuel Marshall was listed in the probate papers. The Marshall family came to Wisconsin from England through New York City as his will had been written and witnessed there. They were in Walworth Co by at least 1848 as that is about when Maryann and Walter married. They were listed in the Clinton, Rock Co. 1850 census and about two years later were living in LaCrosse Co at the time of William's death. Also, William's parents Allen and Eunice (Briggs) Coman were living in LaFayette twp, Walworth Co. Wi in 1850. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
