My computer has been gone 8 days, and I just got it back today. Now I can't get on-line, something is goofed up. So I will type this reply and it will probably sit here till I find some "help"! Anyway, the courthouse doesn't have divorce records there. They have all been sent to an Area Research Center. I used to be able to check the index file, but now we can't go into that section with all the security stuff. Being Wisconsin didn't become a state till 1848, and most of the townships in the county weren't formed till around 1836 in Wisconsin territory, I just don't think there were early records like that. Marriages were about the only record I've found before 1850.
