If you go to the URL there is a Newspaper Article that was written about the asylum in Elkhorn WI and the area that it covered. This article will probably only be available a short time and you might want to download and print it. http://theweekextra.com/news/0806/080306annex.html I would suggest that for accurate information regarding the asylum you contact the Walworth County Historical Society by Snail Mail as you note they specifically state "to write" (as most Archives want) and request the information that they have at their Archives regarding 1920. If you had an Ancestor you believe D there you might want to write the Elkhorn Village Clerk (stating the exact DOD or close Date) and request a Death Certificate or Contact the Walworth County Clerk, P.O. Box 1001, Elkhorn, WI 53121. I have had excellent results in obtaining Walworth County WI information on my Ancestors via Snail Mail and writing to the various Archives and sources. Good Luck Pat R .
