Nana, I am repling to your query with just a bit more information. Troy is no longer a town, it is unincorperated. There is a church and probably a cemetery locarted there. But the main town now is East troy, as the name implies, east of Troy. I live in Colorado, but wanted you to know that you may have to look in East Troy, for any census information. The name LOOMIS, is a very common name in East Troy, I'm sure either my Mother, or one of her children went to High School with a LOOMIS or two. I hope you find someone to look in the cemeteries, sorry I can't help there. I have an ancestry subscription, and could do some census look ups if you need those. Thanks, Cindy. I also have ancestry and have looked at census data. I will try to find out just what cemeteries are in the area. I think that the various Loomis families were connected as Horace Loomis was born in VT and I think I have seen some queries which are for another Loomis from VT. Actually my direct line is Hall but I am trying to find the Hall/Loomis group that came to Troy and Fond du Lac. Thank you for replying.
