She will e-mail you directly. You are obviously aware then of the "Utter Massacre" in Idaho. There is a book written about it, if you don't have a copy and are interested in it. It is about the specific line you are questioning. Here in Walworth Co, Hannah is most likely buried in Linn, Lake Geneva or Elkhorn with other members of my family. We would be happy to narrow that down for you. The likelyhood of IL is remote. Are you related? Or just interested in the history?

My church, while growing up was on BLOOD street. I later found out Mr. Blood was an early settler, I believe his house is still standing. Sorry I can't give you first name, or more information, I'm in Denver, now. I grew up in the East Troy, Walworth County and Mukwonago, Wauksha County area. These towns are located about 30 miles outside of Milwaukee. I don't know if this will help your research, but it adds to the information on a family name. Cindy

    3. Toetapper, When convenient could you check on the land owned by the Wylie family and Hempsted family in the Spring Prairie area. They came to Walworth County abt 1844. Do the land records give any information other than the description of the land owned? Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, December 13, 2003 9:11 AM Subject: [WIWALWOR] Re: WILL DO FREE LOOKUPS! The plat books at the library only go back to 1873 & they were not listed in that one. Next time I'm at the county I'll check to see if they have older records. Meantime I hope this helps a little.

I know that at one time it was part of the Star Center school district that I live in and the Lake Geneva Regional News had pictures of it when it operated years ago. Not sure how they relate but I hope that this helps fill in some pieces of the puzzle for you.
