My name is Bob Monheim and I live at 342 Glendale Ave, Norfolk Va 23505. I recently started tracing my family ancestry and discovered my great grandmother (Elizabeth Monheim, widow of William Monheim) was awarded a land patent dated 5/23/1891 for 160 acres in Taylor County, described as follows: Nr. 1/Aliquot parts SE/Sec/Blk 14/ Township 32-N/ Range 2-E/Fract. Sect. N/Meridian 4th principal meridian - 1831 Minnesota/Wisconsin. I was wondering how to determine a street address, to view the above property, with the hope of getting some pictures. Also does anyone know how to determine if a will was probated or existed, to determine the names of other possible children she might of had or access a city directory/census data to get the data.
