    3. Emil: I believe the nearest Catholic Church is St. Peter and St. Pauls' Catholic Church. Their mailing address is: P.O. Box 100, Gilman, WI 54433 In the information that they completed for the Taylor County Genealogical Society church book, they indicate that they have records for 1934-present for sure. Some earlier cases, but difficult to read, and several gaps. Also, Roosevelt township is located in the western part of Taylor County. It is very likely that someone who was sick would have been taken to possibly Chippewa or Clark counties. Most likely Chippewa Falls. Paul's Cert. of death was not found in Taylor Co. so I am hoping someone can tell me where the closest Roman Catholic Church would have been 1914-1920 for burial. Also not knowing the location of Roosevelt Township, would a sick child have been taken to a doctor or hospital in nearby country such as Clark or Chippewa Co.? > > Any help or advice appreciated; > > Emil Wasniewski > > > ============================== > Join the RootsWeb WorldConnect Project: > Linking the world, one GEDCOM at a time. > http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/ >
