    1. TARRANT-FEDEREN-SHANNON
    2. Hello to the Great State of Wisconsin, I am searching for any information anyone can provide me with regard to the surname TARRANT and FEDEREN. Both families lived in various parts of the state, but spent quite a bit of time in the Minneapolis area. I am searching for PHILIP FEDEREN (1883) and his wife EDITH FEDEREN (1884) and their two children FABIOLA TARRANT (1897) and CECILE TARRANT (1893). They were last known to be in the Twin Cities area in 1944, but their descendants could be anywhere by now. They were relatives of GEORGE A. SHANNON AND ISABELLA (McDonald) SHANNON of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, and their son ROBERT D. SHANNON, who was last known around 1942-44 to be living in Spencer, Iowa. Robert's wife was named JESSE and his children were ANNABELLE and GEORGE, also of Chippewa Falls, WI. Sometime around 1940-45, the family and the germane cousins and step-relatives scattered about the state for an unknown reason, so I'm asking for help from anyone in ANY Wisconsin County. Any information regarding these families or their descendants would be greatly appreciated. Yes, this was posted to every board in Wisconsin because the families scattered and I'm at the point of desperation. It conforms to the guidelines established by RootsWeb, USGenWeb and that awesome upstart ALHN, so it IS NOT considered spam. Take care all. I wish you the best of luck with your own searches. Sincerely, Kevin O'Brien Laguna Hills, CA USA Researching: SHANNON PERKINS WARNER LOWE IVALL GAULEY VAN SCHAICK DORCHESTER TRUAX SMITH

    1. Hello again :>
    2. Clare
    3. Hi, I wrote yesterday and wanted to answer some of the questions I'm getting. First of all, PLEASE send your introduction and any info about your county or name TO THE LIST. I'm just administering the list and have no information for anyone :> You can find the list name in the TO: space above. Second, "to adopt a list" means to accept responsibility for the list, sub and unsub people who are having trouble doing it themselves, and building the list by talking on it and helping researchers to discuss their names and counties. You do NOT do any research for them. For the surnames lists, go here to adopt: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/sponsors.html and for the counties go here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/clusters/adoptcounty.html Please go here: http://www.rootsweb.com/rootsweb/wizards/ to see more about what administering a list means. I'm glad to help anyone but if you have research to share or discuss or questions about that, please send it directly to the list :> -- Clare Peden Midgley mailto:Clare@RootsWeb.com Allegheny Co, PA Genealogy: http://www.rootsweb.com/~paallegh/ For SUBSCRIBE info and MORE LISTS: http://communities.rootsweb.com/ FREE ###### FREE ###### FREE UNLIMITED WEB SPACE: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/acctform.cgi

    1. Kurth Family 1883-Present
    2. megan silvernail
    3. Hi, I researching the Jacob & Peter Kurth families. The two brothers came to the US in 1883 from Prussia. They settled in Lodi, Columbia Co. for about 10 years. Then moving to Westport in Dane Co. Jacob & his wife Barbara settled in Hammel Town, Taylor Co. in the late 1890's. and raised their family there. Peter & his wife Christine lived in Westport for about 10 years then moved to Springfield, Dane Co., then Madison where he died. I'm hoping to find someone else who is researching the Kurth's. I've also heard a family rumor that Peter's youngest son Joseph was a Green Bay Packer in the 1933/34 season. Does anyone know anything about Jospeh Kurth who played for the Packers? Thanks Mary
