Their son, Michael (Mike) Wells lived on the farm with his parents. The Wells family attended St Patrick's Church and were customers at Erin Corners. After Grandparents Wells passed away in approx 1940-1944, Mike Wells lived on an acre 1/4 mile south of Erin Corners until 1965 when he moved into New Richmond to be taken care of by his sister Mary (Mae) Wells Quinlan. James, Mary, Michael and Alice Wells are buried in St Patrick's Cemetery in Erin. Joe Stephens and Mr Higgins owned "Erin Corners" during my youth. To my knowledge the store burned sometime in the 1990s and there is now another building there.
