Quale, 79 Friday, October 22, 2004 Helen A. Quale, 79, of Eau Claire, wife of a former Hudson man, Chester Quale, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. She was born in Eau Claire, Nov. 12, 1924, the daughter of Ole and Ragna (Lyngaas) Hendrickson. She graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1942. On Sept. 14, 1947, in Eau Claire at the Lake Street United Methodist Church, she was married to Chester E. Quale, a graduate of Hudson High School in 1938. She was employed by Webster Candies and also Wisconsin Bell Telephone, both in Eau Claire. She was a longtime member of Lake Street Methodist Church. She loved gardening, craftwork, singing in the church choir, and designing and constructing church banners. Surviving are her husband, Chester; two sons, Michael E. Quale and Carl E. Quale, both of Eau Claire; a granddaughter, Beth (Clay) Johnson of Eagan, Minn.; a brother, Ingwald (Phyllis) Hendrickson of Altoona; and a niece, Jo Lasker of Lago Vista, Texas. Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, Norman Hendrickson; three sisters, Gladys Rude, Ruby Davis and her twin sister, Harriet Missman. Memorials services were at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Lake Street United Methodist Church in Eau Claire with the Rev.
