She was born in Taylors Falls, Minn., Aug. 15, 1928, the daughter of Eyner and Florence (Northquest) Thompson. She was raised in Centuria and graduated from Milltown High School in 1946. On March 21, 1948, in Centuria, she was married to Thomas C. Wyatt Jr. They settled in St. Croix Falls where her husband owned St. Croix Motor Co. Inc. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was active in the American Legion Auxiliary, the United Methodist Church and United Church Women. For a number of years she sang with the Sweet Adelines. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Thomas; and two infant grandchildren. Surviving are three daughters, Cindy (Peter) Maki of Houston, Mo., Judy (Dietmar) Wyatt-Schlei of Hudson and Nancy (William) Unbehaun of Lago Vista, Texas; a brother, Douglas (Helen) Thompson of St. Croix Falls; six grandchildren, Alison and Christopher Maki, Derek Schlei, Gabriel, Michael and Bethany; and nieces and nephews Loren (Michelle) Thompson of Houlton, LaVonne Rost of Hammond, Jeff (Debbie) Wyatt of Shoreview, Minn., Richard (Nancy) Wyatt of Mounds View, Minn., and Laurie Osborne of Anoka, Minn. A memorial service was Saturday, Nov. 6, at the United Methodist Church in St. Croix Falls with Pastor Mark Peacock officiating. Burial was in the St. Croix Falls Cemetery.
