Stromberg, 54 Friday, October 15, 2004 Kirk E. Stromberg, 54, of Hudson died Thursday, Oct. 7, at United Hospital in St. Paul. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on Nov. 17, 1949, the son of Thomas R. and Miriam (O’Keefe) Stromberg. He moved to the Twin Cities in 1982 and lived in Lakeland Shores and St. Croix Beach, Minn., before moving to Hudson in 1992. He was a self-employed drywall contractor and courier driver. In 1992 he was married in Duluth, Minn., to Doris E. Smithey. Surviving are his widow, Doris E. of Hudson; his stepfather, John O’Keefe of Winnipeg; five sisters, Paula of Brandon, Manitoba, Cindy and Linda, both of St. Paul, Lori of Hudson and Penny of Winnipeg; and two brothers, Rod and Michael, both of Winnipeg. Memorial services were at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, at People’s Congregational Church in Bayport, Minn.
