Gerzmehle, 77 Friday, October 22, 2004 Jeanette E. Gerzmehle, 77, of 338 Plank Hill Lane, Nekoosa, died Saturday, Oct. 16, at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Nekoosa. A funeral service was at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Nekoosa with the Rev. Carl Kummer officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, in the town of Port Edwards, Wood County, Wis. She was born March 23, 1927, in Wisconsin Rapids, the daughter of Clarence and Bertha (Lipka) Henke. On Sept. 21, 1946, she was married to Dale Gerzmehle in Wisconsin Rapids. She worked in the print shop division for Nekoosa Edwards Paper Co. for 22 years, retiring in September 1986. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church’s choir, was a wonderful cook and her greatest gift was her giving to others. Survivors include her husband, Dale, of Port Edwards; three sons, David (Shirley) Gerzmehle of Plover, Roger (Debra) Gerzmehle of Nekoosa and Dennis (Mary) Gerzmehle of Hudson; seven grandchildren, Dana (Rob) Gotz, Cory (Rebecca) Gerzmehle, Nyra (Ben) Lind, Jay Gerzmehle, Gabriel Gerzmehle, Greta Gerzmehle and Andrew Gerzmehle; three great-grandchildren, Caleb Gotz, Brett Gerzmehle and Caden Gerzmehle; two brothers, Harlan “Sam” Henke of Wisconsin Rapids and Wallace “Joe” (Nancy) Henke of Port Edwards; three sisters, Rosemary (Peter) Oesterreicher and Charlotte Carlson, both of Wisconsin Rapids, and Althea (Donald) Gunderson of Stevens Point.
