He was the owner and operator of Chuck’s Recycling in Hammond. Surviving are his wife, Janet; five children, Scott (Paula) DeYoung, Duane (Michelle) DeYoung, Cindy (Christopher) Mansfield, Karen (Fred) Pesik and Nadine (Kevin) Skaare. The funeral service is at 11a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at Peace Lutheran Church in Baldwin with Pastor Dennis Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.
