She was born, Sept. 28, 1961, in St. Paul, the daughter of Roger and Bettie Berg, and grew up in Lakeland. She lived in many places throughout her life: South Dakota, Kansas, Arkansas and Minnesota. She made Lakeland her final home because it was near the St. Croix River, which she loved. Preceding her in death were two sons, Richard and Vincent. Surviving are her parents, Roger and Bettie Berg of Lakeland; her fiance, Steve Bradley of Lakeland; two sons, James and David of Lakeland; five brothers, Roger Berg of Hudson, James Berg of Osceola, Phillip Berg of Stillwater, David (Penny) Berg of Spring Valley and Joseph (Jerrolyn) Berg of Lakeland; a sister, Ann (Jim) Gribble of Scandia, Minn.; and her grandmother, Betty Melsheimer of Siren. Funeral services were Thursday, Aug. 12, at the Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster with Pastor Mike Ascher officiating.
