He was born in Marshfield, May 9, 1984, the son of Kelly and Judy (Pence) Kuenn. While at Hudson High School he played trumpet and saxophone in the band, was on the swim and tennis teams, was goal tender on the hockey team and photographer on the school newspaper, the True Blue Times. He was a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In Hudson he was a member of the NETworks youth group and Faith Community Church and recently had membership in the Crystal Cove Community Church in Palm Harbor, Fla. He also was a member of the Ultimate Frisbee team at the university. He loved fishing and was an avid hockey player, went on two mission trips for Habitat for Humanity in Montana and was a fan of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs. Survivors are his parents, Kelly and Judy Kuenn of Holiday, Fla.; a brother, Kyle Kuenn of Palm Harbor, Fla.; a sister, Stephanie M. (Keith) Phipps of Chicago; paternal grandmother, Laurel Kuenn of St. Germain and Dunedin, Fla.; and maternal grandparents Everett and Marion Pence of Hobart, Ind.; four uncles, John Kuenn of Madison, Doug (Lon) Kuenn of La Crosse, Mark Pence and Joe Pence, both of Hobart; and an aunt, Mary Ricci of Cumberland. The funeral was Thursday, Nov. 11, at the Crystal Cove Community Church in Palm Harbor.
