Marklowitz Sr., 72 Friday, June 18, 2004 Donald D. Marklowitz Sr., 72, of Dolan Springs, Ariz., formerly of Wisconsin, died Wednesday, June 9, in Arizona. He is the father of Shelly Weyers of Hudson. He was born April 15, 1932, in Clearwater, Minn., and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. In 1957, he was married to Floraine (Toots) Jungk. The family moved to Wisconsin in 1969 from St. Paul and in the 1970s they lived in Hammond and River Falls. In 1977 he moved to New Richmond, purchased and operated the Erin Corners Bar and Store in the town of Erin Prairie, which he sold in 1980 when he moved to Spooner. From 1980 until seven years ago, he migrated between Wisconsin and Arizona. He remained in Arizona from 1997 until his death. Preceding him in death were three brothers, Norman, Marlin and Glen. Surviving are his wife, Floraine; a son, Donald Jr. (Margaret) of Fountain City; three daughters, Shelly Dee (Michael) Weyers of Hudson, Kim (Jim) Waterman of Baldwin and Toni (Mark) Nelson of Clarksville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, Ian, Colin, Tristan and Garrett Marklowitz, Sarah and Beth Nelson, Brian and Danny Weyers; two sisters, Arlene (Lee) Hetrick of Kingman, Ariz., and Doreen Jungk of Crystal, Minn.; and four brothers, George, Milo (Ida), Fritz and Butch, all of St. Cloud, Minn.
