Anderson, 62 Thursday, July 15, 2004 A memorial gathering to honor David L. Anderson, 62, is set for Saturday, July 17 at his home, “The Cabin”, 950 Trout Brook Rd., in Hudson, starting at 4 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend and share memories. David Lawrence Anderson, the son of Lawrence “Lars” and Harriet (Malberg) Anderson, was born in St. Paul Jan. 20, 1942 and died unexpectedly of a heart attack, Feb. 18, 2004, in Hudson. He was a graduate of Hudson High School in the class of 1960, and earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie . He taught industrial arts in Robbinsdale, Anoka and Brooklyn Park, all in Minnesota. Later he had a change in careers when he became a locomotive engineer for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad running a freight train from Minneapolis to Altoona and started his own construction company. Survivors are a son, Leif (Jean) Anderson of Beavercreek, Ohio; a brother, Daniel (Caroline) Anderson of Edwardsville, Ill., three grandchildren and a number of cousins in the area.
