Moen, 58 Thursday, July 22, 2004 Harland J. Moen, 58, of Madison, Minn., and formerly of Hudson, died of cancer Friday, July 9, at the home of his sister, Gail Mortenson, in Madison. He was born in Madison, March 6, 1945, the son of Joel and Julie (Moe) Moen, and graduated from Madison High School in 1963. For three years he was a member of the Minnesota National Guard. For a number of years he was employed by State Bank of Madison and then moved to the Twin Cities, where he worked at various banks. Most recently he had been employed by Phoenix Fixtures. On May 3, 1975, in Hudson, he was married to Susan Yvonne McCoy, and they were divorced in 1992. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, collecting model cars, working with wood, watching sports and visiting with family and friends. Survivors are his sister, Gail (Buddy) Mortenson of Madison, and his twin brother, Eddy (Pamela) Moen of Tulsa, Okla. Preceding him in death were his parents. Funeral services were Monday, July 12, at Faith Lutheran Church in Madison with the Rev. Kirk Meseck officiating. Burial was in Faith Lutheran Cemetery, where honorary pallbearers were his co-workers at Phoenix Fixtures, his nieces and nephews and the class of 1963.
