Gustafson, 64 Sept. 16, 1938 - July 25, 2003 Harlow E. Gustafson of Osceola died suddenly on Friday, July 25 at the Osceola Medical Center. Harlow was born Sept. 16, 1938 at Nye to Arthur and Minnie Gustafson. He was baptized, confirmed and was a life-long member of Grace Lutheran Church. He graduated from Osceola High School in 1958. On April 16, 1966 he married Milda Swenson at Zion Lutheran Church. For 40 years Harlow was a dairy farmer. He loved tinkering with antique cars and tractors, listening to country music and deer hunting. Harlow will be rememberd for his big heart, his love of people, and his unconditional generosity. His spirit will be missed by many. Harlow was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Minne; brothers, Herb and Henning; sisters, Agnes Eveland and Irenen Thompson; and daughter, LaRayne Nord. He is survived by his wife Milda; sons, Nathan (Faith) and Jason; grandchildren, Bryan Nord and Aisha Gustafson; brothers, Hilary (Arlene), Harry (Jane), Marilyn Cole, Harold (Lois), Harvey (LaVina), Harland (Shirley); father-in-law Leonard Swenson; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews and many friends. Funeral services were held Monday, July 28 at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Tom Kutz officiating. Interment was in the Pleasant Prairie Cemetery.
