Neumann, 84 Jan. 4, 1919 - July 24, 2003 Dorothy H. Neumann of Osceola died July 24 at Good Samaritan Center in St. Croix Falls. Dorothy was born in Somerset, Jan. 4, 1919 to Charles and Rose (nee Cook) Carufel. She attended grade school at Sand Hill and graduated from Osceola High School in May 1937. On May 24, 1938, Dorothy married Clemence J. Neumann at St. Anne’s Church in Somerset. She was a homemaker and worked side by side with her husband on their farm in Farmington Township. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clemence; daughter Jeanette; grandchildren, Kate and Ted Neumann. She is survived by daughters, Marion of Osceola and Elaine (Allen) Hobbs of Grand Forks, N.D.; sons Ronald (Renee), Dennis (Linda), and David all of Osceola; grandchildren, Julie (Jeremy) Hobbs Dombrowski, Chris Hobbs, Tim (Roxanne), Todd, Terry, Mary, Laura, Erica, and Greg Neumann; and great-grandson Jason Dombrowski. Mass of Christian Burial was held July 29 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, East Farmington, with interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
