He was preceded in death by his wife Kay and grandson James Christiansen. He is survived by daughter Diane (Gary) Gorka of Amery; son Jerry (Laurie) of New Richmond; grandchildren, Kellie Lindquist, Pete, Erik, Justice and Adrian; great-grandchildren, James and Julia; sister Barb (Bob) Polzin. He was active in the Knights of Columbus, a past Grand Knight. He was a retired mechanic from Northwest Airlines. Service was held at 10 a.m. Aug. 8 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Stillwater, Minn. Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 at Simonet Funeral Home, Stillwater.
