Craig was the son of C. Ray and Roberta (Bobby) Johnson, New Richmond. Craig graduated from high school in 1996. He completed a semester of business classes at WITC-New Richmond before he entered the health care field in which he worked for Aurora Residential. He enrolled in and successfully completed the truck driving program at Chippewa Valley Technical Institute in Eau Claire, where he received his class “A” CDL license. After driving over-the-road this past winter and spring, he returned to the health care field with Heartview/Heartland, where he worked until the time of his death. After completing a semester of psychology at the Chippewa Valley Tech school this past spring, he was considering pursuing a career in that field. Craig enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, drawing, music, and playing guitar. Craig is survived by his younger brother Kevin; two nieces, Kaylee and Megan; his paternal grandmother Elizabeth Johnson of Indiana; maternal grandmother Joyce Marine of Menomonie; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation was at Cullen Funeral Home in New Richmond.
