Jensen, 46 Donald William Jensen, 46, of Manhattan, Mont., formerly of Hudson, died of cancer at his home Wednesday, July 16. He was born in Baldwin, July 16, 1956, the son of Carl Martin and Jane Marie (Fern) Jensen. He was raised and educated in Hudson, graduating from Hudson High School in the class of 1974. Later he worked for a refrigerating plant. In 1979 he moved to Manhattan, Mont., and became a commercial and residential insulator. Shortly after arriving in Manhattan, he formed a partnership for his insulating business, Western Urethane Inc. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and playing cards. He was known for his quick wit, compassion, candid stories and “occasional” happy hours. He was an honorary member of the American Legion Post No. 87 in Manhattan. Survivors are his father and stepmother, Carl and Judy Jensen of Spooner; his mother, Jane Jensen of Iron River; two brothers, Douglas (Beth) Jensen of White Bear Lake, Minn., and David Jensen of Manhattan; his paternal grandfather, Severt Jensen, and an aunt, Lois (Richard) Jordahl of Hudson. His body was cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Bozeman Deaconess Hospice or the charity of the donor’s choice.
