A Joseph Rudd b. ca 1821 and his 3 sisters: Eliza, Sarah & Emma came to the U.S. ca 1850. The girl's worked in Boston as Housemaids for a time and then they went West (San Francisco) & later Sierra Co. I believe all four were born in South Molton, Devonshire, Eng Joseph m. Mary Lovell first and his 2nd wife, I don't know. He had David, Sarah, Richard & Joseph b. ca 1859 who m. Anna Anderson & Elizabeth Swanson. Richard m. Susan Humphrey 23 June 1896, Cylon, Wisc. David m. Elizabeth Anderson & Rene Swanson.. I believe the Joseph of obit is the grandson of David & Rene Anderson. They had 11 children. Most of the info I have on Joseph's family and descendants came from Fern (Wilbur) Atwood of Enid, OK back in 1975 I would very much like to update my knowledge.
