Wellman, 48 Janet M. Wellman, 48, of Hudson died of cancer on Thursday, July 24, at The Pillars Hospice Home in Oakdale, Minn. She was born in St. Paul, March 27, 1955, the daughter of John and Marie Zimitsch, attended St. Bernard’s Elementary School and was a graduate of St. Bernard’s High School in St. Paul. On Dec. 8, 1979, she was married to Dean Wellman at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in St. Paul. She and her husband have made their home in Hudson since 1994. She is survived by her husband, Dean Wellman of Hudson; two sons, Philip and Erik, at home; her parents, John and Marie Zimitsch of St. Paul; a sister, Mary (Paul) Gausman of St. Paul; four brothers, Kenneth and Thomas Zimitsch, both of St. Paul, John Zimitsch of Maple Grove, Minn., and Mark Zimitsch of Edwardsville, Ill.; her father and mother-in-law, Warner and Janice Wellman of Woodbury, Minn. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in St. Paul, with burial in Roselawn Cemetery in Roseville, Minn. Memorials are preferred to The Pillars Hospice Home, 6025 Upper 35th St. N., Oakdale, Minn.
