Heffron, 50 Betty J. Heffron, 50, of Ellsworth died Tuesday, Dec. 17, at the River Falls Area Hospital. She was born July 30, 1952, in Centuria, the daughter of Eddie and Cora Lee Harr, and grew up in Milltown, graduating from Unity High School. After brief employment at Tom and Helen's Coffee Shop in Centuria and the Frederic Telephone Company, she was employed for 13 years with the WestCap Community Action Agency serving Pierce and Pepin counties. She had fond memories as a young child of accompanying her father on his area milk delivery route. She also enjoyed collecting antiques, spending time with her grandchildren and two dogs and shopping. Preceding her in death were an infant son, Kelly D. Earney, her father, Edward Harr, and a grandson, Thomas Heffron. Surviving are her mother, Cora Lee Harr of Milltown; her husband, David Heffron of Ellsworth; a son, Christopher (Tina) Earney of Red Wing, Minn.; two sisters, LuAnn (Roger) Wood of Frederic and Peggy Harr of Ellsworth; a brother, Dale (Nancy) Harr of Centuria; two stepchildren, Tammie Loida and Chad Heffron; eight grandchildren, Kelly Johnson, Larrisa Kinneman, Crystal Heffron, Tyler Clark, Brandon Yauger, Shawntell Heffron, Kody Rivera and Wylee Rivera; three nieces, Andrea Rostron, Aimee and Alicia Harr; and three nephews, Matthew Wood, Eddie Harr and Austin Rostron. A service celebrating her life was at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, at the Milltown Lutheran Church.
